Description: As part of my clients ongoing success and increase in market share, a newly created role has been created for a financial analyst. Reporting into the finance manager for one of their key divisions, the role has been created to provide analytical and commercial support to sales sectors of the relevant business teams. This will be achieved by influencing and improving commercial performance through the effective provision of support to the business development teams. Key areas include:
· Financial analysis and decision support for the Sales (Acquisition) Business to drive improved performance and help the Business Unit meet its financial and non-financial targets
· Delivery of the appropriate tools and models to provide the required analytical support to the Sales teams
· Responsibility for providing financial appraisals for related Investment Proposals
· Work with the commercial and wider teams in developing plans / budgets which meet financial / business targets.
· Be a key input to the formulation and implementation of commercial strategies to ensure profitability is optimised
· Act as a business partner for key areas of the business. This would include, explaining performance and further developing current reporting capability.
· To support Cost Centre Managers and to improve the overall understanding of financials within the teams.
To be considered for the role, you will either be a qualified or late stage studier and possess strong analytical skills.
