Description: As part of my clients ongoing success and increase in market share, a newly created role has been created for a financial analyst. Reporting into the finance manager for one of their key divisions, the role has been created to provide analytical and commercial support to sales sectors of the relevant business teams. This will be achieved by influencing and improving commercial performance through the effective provision of support to the business development teams. Key areas include:
· Financial analysis and decision support for the Sales (Acquisition) Business to drive improved performance and help the Business Unit meet its financial and non-financial targets
· Delivery of the appropriate tools and models to provide the required analytical support to the Sales teams
· Responsibility for providing financial appraisals for related Investment Proposals
· Work with the commercial and wider teams in developing plans / budgets which meet financial / business targets.

Key areas of the role include the preparation and submission of management and local accounts, provision of MI and analysis of actual against budget with relevant commentary for variances, profitability analysis, liaising with with regional commercial managers to drive performance across their operations, planning and forecasting and numerous ad hoc projects. Description: My client is looking for a permanent part time payroll clerk to join the business immediately. You will be expected to work 20 hours per week, with a view to completing some additional overtime when required. You will be managing the entire payroll process for between 60-100 weekly paid staff and dealing with any queries as and when they arise. There are seasonal elements to the workload, hence the fluctuation in staff numbers. There will also be a small involvement in Purchase Ledger duties and training will be provided. You must have previous payroll experience and a knowledge of Sage 50 would be advantageous.
