Financial Controller - Wakefield Area - to £40,000
A Financial Controller or Company Accountant is required to provide accounting support in the Wakefield area. You would be employed by our practice client, who in turn provide an accounting service to their clients.
The role could be recruited on a full-time or part-time basis with a 2 day, 4 day or a potential full-time option. You would look after more than one client if looking to work a large part of each week. There are a variety of options available.
The role has been created to support select organisations within the practice portfolio, ensuring the clients have finance support and someone to provide commercial insights and analysis. You will be the primary financial contact for each organisation and will be based at their site.

A brief outline of expected duties includes;
Production of management accounts
Budgets and forecasts
Cost centre management
Assist with year-end accounts
Assist with statutory returns
Production of reporting and management information
Ensuring appropriate controls are in place
You must be an experienced accountant with the confidence and ability to tailor your skills to the client requirements. You will ideally be a qualified accountant, but consideration will be given to applicants with relevant experience. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for some variety within your career.
