Payroll Manager - Wakefield - £25,000 - £32,000
Payroll Manager is required for my expanding Wakefield based practice firm. The primary function of the role is to manage, maintain and process a variety of client payrolls. This is a high-volume role with various sized and frequency payrolls.
The main duties include;
Processing each payroll from start to finish
Calculating and processing SMP, SSP, P45's, P60's etc
Calculating and processing applicable returns
Managing RTI and Auto-Enrolment
Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries
Manage year end processes and associated returns
You must possess at least 3 years of payroll experience ideally in a practice or payroll bureau, although this is not critical for a candidate with the right attributes and skills.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail and working to tight deadlines are also critical for this role. You will be expected to liaise with various clients and HMRC to solve any issues that may arise.
The organisation is easily accessible from the M1 and comes with parking. There may be flexibility with the hours, but the role is expected to fill the majority of a working week. Feel free to contact us to discuss options.Apply Now
